Don’t mind me, just another night of cooking tasty stuff, eating it, taking a picture of the part we hadn’t yet eaten, and getting drunk, in no particular order. There was also some petting cats and laughing along with my wife at youtube clips of late night TV hosts shitting on certain politicians.
UPDATE: Current status...

This made me laugh and I REALLY needed that. So thanks. Enjoy your drinks.

I had this pizza for a late lunch.
The Belgian Wit was also great.

But did you make it?

Pizza and drinks are always great. I had ribs and drinks, also great.
Cheers to great decision-making.

I would approve of these “ribs.”

I love making home made pizza. It helps that I have a bread machine that can mix and proof the dough. I’ve found it’s also great for kids’ parties. They love making their own pizzas in different shapes. Cheap too, like all cuisine invented by Italian peasants.

I’ve been messing with pre-made frozen dough since I got a pizza stone for Jewish Christmas.
The first kind I tried from one supermarket was pretty good. This stuff is Rhodes bake-n-serv “pizza dough” that isn’t really pizza dough but produces a pizza-like product if you follow their directions.
The first time I tried it on the pizza stone (and totally disregarding their directions) it turned out like a bread bowl with pizza toppings on top. I had treated it like actual pizza dough but it rises like crazy if you do that. Instead you’re supposed to roll it real thin and cook it on a cookie sheet.
But I had bought a 3-pack of the stuff so I followed the directions on the other 2 dough logs.
I’ll probably get around to making my own dough with the stand mixer, or...just getting that first kind of frozen dough that worked better on the stone.

I’versed my KitchenAid mixer almost exclusively for dough. Either bread or pizza. Homemade pizza is so tasty, and so much less expensive.

I’d love to have a real pizza oven, but that’s not in the cards. Pizza isn’t quite the same without it, but you can get pretty close.

And fun. I love twirling the crust in the air to the terrified cries of my girls.

I have yet to try that. I’m not that hardcore. :P
